The Arabian Horse is not only beautiful, but it is arguably one of the
oldest purebred breeds in the world. Most light breeds of today trace
ancestry to the Arabian Horse. They are part of the foundation for
Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Standardbreds, Morgans, Appaloosas,
Missouri Fox Trotting Horses, Tennessee Walkers, most Warmbloods,
American Saddlebreds, National Show Horses, and many more.
The Arabian Horse Association is the governing body for registering the
Arabian in the USA. They keep track of pedigrees, and provide several
programs which promote the Arabian Horse.
Please go to their web site to learn more.
The Arabian horse is very versatile, excelling in Western Pleasure,
English Pleasure(saddle seat), Hunter Classes (both on the flat and
jumping), Driving, Working Cow Horse, Reining, Gymkhana (such as
barrel racing, pole bending, etc.) Endurance and just going out for a fun
ride on the trails. They are a family horse and you will often find
several members of the family doing whatever "their thing" is with the
same horse.
Arabians are becoming very popular as a 4-H, or pony club horse, as
their responsiveness, agility and temperament are proving to be an asset
to the young rider.
Here at Amblin Arabians we strive to produce family friendly horses
that can be shown to whatever level you aspire to achieve. We belong to
several organizations and are active in our efforts to promote our
wonderful breed. We welcome visitors by appointment and look
forward to introducing you to our horses. We will also help you to find
the horse of your dreams.
